Einstein myth busted

We use only 10 percent of our brains

This myth, attributed by some to Albert Einstein, has persisted for over a century despite tremendous advances in neuroscience. It may have come from the propagation by multiple sources of the power of self-improvement, and their suggestions that very little human potential is realized. However, evidence from studies of brain damage and brain imaging, among others, show that people use much more than 10 percent of their brains. For example, brain imaging studies show that no area of the brain is completely silent or inactive. Indeed, detailed probing of the brain has failed to identify the non-functioning 90 percent. And besides, how would Einstein know anyway? Einstein was a physicist, not a neurophysiologist.

AAF: Exactly; and that means that the author of the fore-mentioned article is telling you that ' quasars emit their incredible energies through simple gravitational collapse'. Of course, the whole explanation is fantastic and can't be real; but that is what your fellow Relativists believe in; and therefore, you should believe in it too; shouldn't you?

Cincirob: I see you're hiding your comments again AAF. If I made a comment this far off the mark I'd hide it too. Give it up. The ideas of you and Dingle are in the dustbin of history.

AAF: Dingle has nothing to do with black holes and quasars! It follows, therefore, that you're the one who's running away, because your ideas and Einstein's ideas are biting the dust... [linked image]
