New evidence that Einstein knew of MM experiment

New evidence that Einstein knew of MM (Michelson-Morley) experiment before 1905 has come forward.

Article at:http://www.newsweek.com/id/204892

Article notes - that Einstein made contradictory statements as to whether he knew about MM experiment before writing his SR paper.

The revision is that he did know about MM experiment, so he was working from what other physicists knew about light speed invariance; and it was his genius to use this to make SR; rather than existing belief that Einstein postulated light speed invariance through insight.

What Did Einstein Know, And When Did He Know It?
What newly released papers reveal about the physicist.

"... existing belief that Einstein postulated light speed invariance through insight. "

Who believes this, except roger?

Maxwell had already established that c = 1/sqrt(e0.µ0) is a universal constant related to two electromagnetic universal constants.
For only that reason it was not an extraordinary idea, it was compelling.
For that reason also, Poincaré and Lorentz and others were working on the same topic.

Einstein was very well organized to get relevant information and make good use of it.
Today, a huge majority of people (including roger) are not able to make good use of the information available freely and instantly to them.

The mark of Einstein is precisely the use he made of his information and his good judgment.
Turning the facts in postulates and deriving the consequences by physical insight was a masterpiece.
