| so that it can be made compatible with religion
and bring the people back to the religious order
where social injustice/order is the will of god,
in other words: "the good old times" where faith was an answer to any question and a good way to avoid any answer
this will be a huge job,
it is a first principle to undermining science where it is the most difficult to understand by the layman, relativity for example, quantum mechanics even better but with a risk of backfiring
it is a second principle to present the current scientific understanding as much confusing as possible, as Pentcho Valev has made a speciality of
all this is really not new, it goes back to the anti-darwin times, at least |

Jose says: Well, Anonymous, Religion has this problem: Its promoters get all hyped up on thinking Science agrees with their interpretation of what their Scriptures imply. Then new data and observations arise. These are incongruous with the said teachings of the religion. So, cognitive dissonance sets in and the obvious new evidence is ignored and/or repudiated without any logical reason.
For example: "Survival of the fittest" has been supplanted by "Survival of the luckiest."
The Big Bang could not have happened. | |
