Hello all:
Hope this message finds all of you doing well. It is time to make travel arrangements for the Cardiovascular Health Practioners' Institute in September! Below you will find some guidelines as to how to make your air reservations. Please call Emily Slotkin (585) 273-2681 or e-mail her at Emily_Slotkin(AT)urmc.rochester.edu if you have any questions.
Travel arrangements will be made through Town and Country Travel in Rochester, NY. They can be reached at 1-800-747-2850. Ask for any corporate agent. Mention that the University of Rochester, Cardiovascular Health Practioners' Institute should be billed for your reservation and that Emily Slotkin is the contact person.
The only information they need from you is travel arrival and departure dates and locations.
The University will automatically be billed for your reservations, so you should not need to make any payment at the time of your booking.
Please make every attempt to make your reservations with Town and Country at least thirty days before your departure date. (Our apologies if these leaves you crunched for time!)
All meals and activites at Mountain Lake are covered with the exception of alocholic beverages. There should be no additional expenses accrued aside from this during your stay at Mountain Lake.
****One final important note: If you plan to be in Mountain Lake on the first evening of the Institute, September 24th, for dinner, please give a quick call to Terri Welch at Mountain Lake Resort, 1-800-346-3334 to make a reservation. As the hotel anticipates that the entire party will not have reached the hotel yet, they are arranging for that evening's dinner by reservation only.
