Another good movie along these lines is "Why we Fight?", got to hand it to Eisenhower, I think he nailed it when he warned of the military-industrial complex driving foreign...adventures.

The only way i can see this stopping is if another country takes over supplying the world with sophisticated weapons .if that doesnt happen then theres no stopping them .

ps i watched this docu a couple of years back on the bbc

The military is the final link in a very long chain. The military industrial base cannot independently sustain itself if all the other variables aren't in the right place. War merely postpones the inevitable.
