Last week I met with the head of high risk/maternal fetal medicine at Columbia, in the city. She agrees that it looks like I can carry again, assured it were a singleton. She also anticipates a tough pregnancy -- likely PTL again, but hopefully not as early, and hopeful that I may benefit from some of the treatments that aren't helpful in a twin pregnancy... It was more emotional than I anticipated, and has had Georgia and Lucy on my mind...

I think we will try to stim in January/February. We will be doing the micro-ray testing [they map all the chromosomes for any abnormalities -- as I am not a candidate for prenatal invasive tests, and want to be assured of the best chances of BFP since I can only transfer one at a time], which currently requires a frozen transfer (to allow time to get results from the lab). Transfer isn't planned until sometime late next summer for a few reasons... So hopeful that we'll have a few 'on ice' so we can try multiple transfers if necessary. I'll be starting acupuncture again soon prior to stimming.

I am excited about the possibility of trying again, but know we have many hurdles to clear still... just missing my girls.

I hope that everything goes smoothly for you. Glad to hear you got some promising news to move forward for 2010. That's great. I will keep you in my thoughts as the next few months progress. Keep us updated with your progress and stim!

How exciting and nerve-wracking all at once! Sounds like you guys have a good plan in place...very well thought out and controlled. You three are so brave! I admire your tenacity. Know that we are all here to support you and cheer you on as you start your new journey. Sending hugs of comfort as you remember Georgia and Lucy.
