I don't think so, but work wise I enjoyed it best under Carter. I think Regan simply widened the gap between the rich and the poor. The recessions may have been deeper in the seventies with interest rates in the twenties. But we were living the life back then with government paying our way in shipyards and other defense programs. And it seems like every year I get older the harder it all becomes for the middle class. The gap will widened under the next president, and the poor will suffer like never before.
