Response to Didn't like

Well, it depends on what you like. Yes, POA was less like the book than the first two, but does that make it a less enjoyable movie? The book is the book. The movie is the movie and it should be viewed this way.

POA shows a lot more visual panache and creative ingenuity than the first two. That is because Cauron was able to inject the experience with his own vision. Of course the changes were all approved by Rowling herself.

So if what you were expecting was a literal interpretation of the book, then i can see how you might be disappointed. But if you were wanting to see a new fresh face painted on the Harry Potter experience, and wanted to see it taken to the next level then I think you got it with POA.

The Harry Potter movies should be able to exist as great movies independent of the books, not just as Video "Cliff Notes" of the books.

My opinions of course,
Cheers, Frank
