I have a question regarding adopting a child from India?

Can you tell me the Procedures/details involved in adopting a child and who can be able to adopt a child from India?

An international adoption to the United States is possible by United States Citizens. Legal Permanent Residents (green card holders) and Non-immigrant visa holders (H1, L1 ….) can adopt but will be unable bring the child to the United States, as a United States citizen would normally do.
