I am planning to bring omy mother here in the month of JAn '05. I am going to move to a new company who is going to file the H1 on regular process which takes 90/150 days. Do i need to send the Approved H1 notice or can send the receipt copy if i don't get my H1 approved by the end of Dec.
It is assumed that you have valid employment and in H1B status and you are planning to change employer, then you can send the present approval notice. Receipt of the change will not help. Another option is you can ask you mother to apply for the visa immediately and she can travel in Jan 95.

The new company has already applied. Just waiting for the receipt to join the new company.. So i have to wait for the approval to bring my mom here..
