HI, i am on L2 visa here in usa since last 7 months .i want to do work over here in order to utilize my professional degree(M.B.A. in information technology).
but i don't know the required essential documents for applying this as right now i don't have ITIN no.(individual tax identification no. in absense of SSN)as for filling ITIN tax return form of my husband job, is required so can't i apply for EAD also (even can't i get DRIVING LICENSE also.....).
what is the rule for L2 visa holder as no one knows the correct information so all friends are giving negative response that i am restricted to do anything but i want to know what is correct .

As a dependent of an L1 Intracompany Transferee, you can apply and receive an EAD to work. You can file form I-765 with proof of your husband's L1 status. You may contact us for additional information, if needed.

Spouse of an L-1 Intracompany
Transferee--(a)(18). File your EAD application with
evidence of your lawful status and evidence you are a spouse
of a principal L-1, such as your I-94. (Other relatives or
dependents of L-1 aliens who are in L status are not eligible
for employment authorization and may not file under this
category.)
