movies--
LEGEND OF THE 7 GOLDEN VAMPIRES (dvd)...oh, why is the whole screen shifting left and right whilst I type...what's bad is that I wound up watching the 75m. butchered American version and didn't realize it till the credits rolled 15m. early. Vampire samarai kick ass.
BLUEBEARD (dvd)--Oddball 40's thriller by Edgar G. Ulmer, w/ John Carradine in the lead (it was originally written for Boris Karloff back in the 30's--there's even a poster with Karloff's face on it)...only watched the docu, will watch the film itself this weekend.
SHAFT IN AFRICA (dvd)--shut yo mouth! Shaft busts in on a modern slave-trade operation. If you ever wanted to stare at Richard Roundtree's naked ass for 20 minutes straight then you've come to the right place. Groovin' theme song performed by the Four Tops.
DR. JECKYLL'S DUNGEON OF DEATH (vhs)--a sentimental favorite; introduced the fascinating wrinkle of kick-boxing to the Jeckyll and Hyde genre. Produced, directed, written by and starring the Academy Award-nominated James Mathers (who could probably use some time off).
music--
Not much, for some odd reason I've almost completely lost interest in music over the past few weeks...prob'ly due to half.com overindulgences
