Well, I just listened to some new Halford and it's surprisingly good. It reminds me of Turbo-era Judas Priest. Old-school metal that's not afraid of three-chord simplicity. Maybe it's more common than I'm aware of (because I never listen to the radio) but I thought it was very good.
Judas Priest is gonna be playing here pretty soon, and it said in the newspaper that the new Halford album was much better than the new Judas Priest album. I'm afraid to hear the new Priest album. I haven't heard Ripper, the new lead singer, and I'm afraid he's gonna be really lame and destroy my memories of the old Judas Priest. | |
