I dunno. I like cheesey Westerns, but this might be a little much for me. I wish there were more people that could stomach this sort of poop, though. Cuz I would LOVE to see some of the old shows back in syndication. I haven't seen Bonanza or Gunsmoke since I was a little kid. That and Rawhide and Maverick. I could really get into that.
It's funny, while most of the westerns made today totally suck, both critically and at the box office. I try to see them anyway. I feel like I'm sort of obligated to support this dead gendre. There's all sorts of Horror and B-Movie fans, but it seems I'm alone with my western kick. It's all been done to death, but I love the old cliche's.
I think that after spending a few years, as a kid in rural Utah, I just got into the whole "ghost town myth."
