Okay. Now Fistful, For a Few More, and the Good Bad and the Ugly were a trilogy. But there is a follow up without Clint called Once Upon a Time in the West. I know the title's cheesey and I was turned off by it for a long time. But Henry Fonda plays the coldest villain I've ever seen, and many say that this film really is Leone's masterpiece. Check it out, if you can find it.
But my favorite man with no name Eastwood movie is a completely separate entity that Clint, himself directed called the High Plains Drifter. I really love this movie, and it's violent as hell. Is it better than the others? I'm no film critic. I just know that there is a midget in it.
Never really cared for John Wayne. Although, I do get a kick out of the Sons of Katie Elder. Dean Martin plays one of the Duke's brothers. Also noteworthy is a small role for a very young, and very slimey, Dennis Hopper.
