I haven't seen nor heard of Once Upon a Time in the West, but I will fer sher have to check it out and probably own it, as much as I love the other three.

YES! High Plains Drifter! That's the one I was talkin' about. It fits in nice enough (f you're feeling generous to Clinty) with the other three to a point, but there's one scene in particular early on that doesn't "fit" the character as I knew him in the first three. That would be the rape. I've always figured it to be Clint's move to discredit the character "for what he really is", but it's always bugged me. Maybe I just don't like it because it's a rape, or maybe it's a structural/character thing, I don't know.

John Wayne - mostly, just gimme The Searchers, and Stagecoach. I haven't seen much of his stuff since I was a kid, really, so I'll have to do some renting to see if there's anything else.
