| LL Cool J - Radio old-school rap from back in the day, boyee. this is the kind of rap that's fun to listen to for me; it's nostalgic, sure, but it's also funny, and hungry, and it doesn't get off on cheap, easy shit like misogyny and violence.
John Lee Hooker - The Complete '50s Chess Recordings I can't, won't, and aint gonna get enough John Lee, so stop your lyin' ways and get on the blues train. This man is beautiful, and I miss him.
Neko Case - Canadian Amp alt.country shtuff. She's got a great voice and she looks good in a corset, on a dirty couch. I've seen her play a couple of times and each time I've wanted to stay after and sleep on her lap. This is, of course, after the sex.
TOOL - Various bootlegs I've collected a raft of them lately off of eBay; some are good, some are sadly sucky. Of course, I plan to repackage them all with good liner art (versus the shit they come to me sporting) and better track listings and editing (via soundforge) and re-sell copies right back to the eBay crowd to recoup my expenses (plus some extra scratch for all the troubles I go through in life), you know.
Sevendust - Animosity I haven't even listened to this yet; I copped a copy off somebody coz I said I needed some metal to work out to. If I like it enough I'll buy a copy (hey, I aint no pirate; I'm just careful).
Dmitri Shostakovich - Symphony #8 If you want the devil, don't bother asking AC/DC for directions; go to the freaking source.
Radiohead - Kid a/Amnesiac
Tom Waits - Heartattack and Vine
Philip Glass - Kundun
