I've gotten gypped every time I tried to see these guys. First show with the Dickies sold out, and I was forced to sit within earshot of the Coliseum all night.
Second attempt, I had the flu, and gave away my ticket. Stayed home and barfed all night.
Third attempt, in Australia, at the Metropolis. Navarro breaks down from "exhaustion" gig postponed. Band breaks up.
Ever since, I've been unfortunate enough to find out about a couple reunion type shows after the events took place.
Only band I've ever loved this much that has managed to elude me on this scale would be Skinny Puppy. Laibach and Coil aren't known for extensive U.S. touring so I don't feel so bad about those two. As far as I know Coil have only played stateside once in New York.
