Spinning! Been a little while.

Yes, I don't know what the hell I'm doing with music. All these may sound stale to you, but they're new to me.

Flaming Lips-Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. Annoying, slow, and overly psychedelic. And I can't get enough. Reminds me of the Electric Light Parade at Disneyland, only mildly depressed. I can't get this shit out of my head. This is going to be one of the records I'll play for the rest of my life, even if people around me want to kill me.

Nick Cave-Nocturama.
It's been a long time since one of his discs sounded this good on the first listen. I hope it holds up.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club-Take Them On, On Your Own. Can't help it. I like it. And down in this podunk hell I've managed to escape the hype. I like the whole British sounding thing they've got. Reminds me of the first time I heard LAR.

Eisturzende Neubauten-Strategies Against Architecture 3. A nice overview of the last ten years on two discs. Most songs are different versions of those previously released. This band just keeps on evolving. Very nice.

Interpol-Turn on the Bright Lights.
I'm struggling with this one. It's so good. But it makes me feel so blue. It gets me down. This one is going on the back burner until something changes around here.
