Blessed are the poor in spirit

I've been listening to a great disc from a local underground X-tian rap artist. (i've asked the "rap" guy at work to school me... and I've really become interested in the local scene. from what I understand, the bay area is supposedly the greatest of the "underground" scenes)

the guy goes by "Spokesman" and the album is titled "Parable Of The Fig". Although his rhyme and delivery isn't very smooth, the music is some of the best I've heard in all of hip hop.

If this guy just released music, he'd surely give DJ Shadow a run for the money. I think I'm gonna try to see if Carl(guy @ work) can get me a vocal-free copy of this disc.
