6/13/01 BREAKING NEWS: For the first time in thirty-seven years,
Herschell Gordon Lewis and David F. Friedman are collaborating on a
feature film! On July 23, the grandfathers of gore will reunite in
New Orleans to begin a twelve-day shoot for a little project
called... BLOOD FEAST 2! The executive producer is Jackie Morgan with
Something Weird Video's Mike Vraney, Jimmy Maslon, Lewis, and
Friedman serving as associate producers. The soundtrack will be
provided by Southern Culture on the Skids. Best of all, those in the
know tell me that Herschell, always eager to dabble in a new medium,
is adamant about shooting the film digitally! Check back for more
