Response to no sand for me, either; Winky Dink?

GI Joe
Star Wars (quite a few...)
Transormers (these were the most Xpensive so alas, I never got more than 3 of them)
Masters of the Universe (YEAH YEAH YEAH)
Insectaurs (Well, think I only had one or two o' 'em but they rocked anyway)
Dungeons & Dragons (these were my favorite; they were the most realistic poseable fantasy figures on the market at that time and I was a major D&D buff)

Other odds and ends:

the Kraken from "Clash of the Titans" (but none of the action figures; JUST the Kraken)
Godzilla (he had wheels on his feet and a projectile fist)
ummm...that rubber bat they used to advertize in comic books, with the transparent belly full of "blood"...Gregore, I think his name was....?
ROM, the SpaceKnight
A couple of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA dolls (including Lorne Green!...oh wait, I had a Cylon, too...and the Emperor, and the green guy with the cobweb costume, and Starbuck)
Sark from TRON (he was made of transparent colored plastic)
clothed Spider-man and Hulk dolls they usedta make in the late 70's...
the Bigfoot from 6 MILLION DOLLAR MAN
Stretch Armstrong
and a couple of those SECRET WARS figures, towards the end of my childhood.
