damned: reasonably good upon first listen, although i didn't appreciate the preachy tone of a few of the tunes.

stooges: this nearly blew my tiny computer speakers when i put it in. the bottom sounds deeper than i remember it, which is good. i can't tell at this point whether the static that comes in on the guitar leads is actually on the recording or is being induced during playback; i suspect the former. also, the liner notes are a riot.
