My name is Maria and I have had cardiomyopathy for two years now. I caught it from a cold that really got worse. My EF was only 15% and now it's at 45%. It get a little hard to really understand why it happened but I guess there is a rainbow at the end of this nightmare when I hear the stories like your mom's. At least I can have hope that maybe I too will go all the way to 60-65%. Please let her know that even though I don't know her or you, you are both in my thoughts and prayers.
