I have a friend who recently died of sudden death dilated cardiomyopathy. He had had TB when younger (he died at 44 - the TB was in his adolescence) and was taking TB preventative medications.
Does anyone know if there are known cases of TB damaging the heart muscle and potentially causing cardiomyopathy?
