spongioform cardiomyopathy

by

Hi Marie,

I've checked all the reference books I have, have searched the net, and consulted my cardiologist's office and I can't find any reference to spongioform cardiomyopathy.

Could this possibly be related to spngioform encephalopathy?

You don't say how serious your child's heart failure is, and don't mention what kind of medications are being prescribed, so it's rather hard to help out.

I have heard that children who receive heart transplants usually do better than adults because their immune systems are not so well developed and so the complications of rejection are typically lessened.

Good Luck and God Bless,

Bill
