Heart attack 5 1/2 years ago and EF of 23; I have had what I considered excellent care and get by. I especially appreciate a forum like this, didn't know that they existed.
On my last doctor visit I reported chest pain radiating into the arm and up the neck that went away with nitro and aspirin. That didn't get any reaction. Later, when I had severe chest pain while trying to complete a 6 min. walk he told me that CHF patients do NOT have chest pain! As I have been reporting painful twinges for five years I have to wonder where he was or doubt my communication skills.
Has anyone else experienced pain?
