Congested Heart Disease

by Pam

First of all let me say I am so glad to have found this site. My husband was diagnoised with congested heart disease about two months ago. They went in to do a ballon, as he has three arteries that are blocked, but could not, as the doctor said they could not find an opening. I read his doctor report and it stated he has severe congested heart disease. He is currently on Typol 25MG, Lasix, and Acuprol. We are getting a second opinion on March 28th and since the shock is now wearing off and we are ready to fight this, what should I be asking the doctor. He feels good, gets a little tired, but otherwise is getting along pretty good since he started to take the medication. By the way, last year he had a major blood clot in his right leg. That sure is not helping the problem, along with being a diabetic. His sugar is under control (blood averages 120 everyday, and he takes pills for the diabetees. Where do we start? Thank you
