My father was diagnosed with CHF Tuesday. He drinks beer and smokes all day. I know that my father is not in good health, and I know that he won't stop drinking or smoking. I justs really want to know what to expect. I am twenty years old and everyone is acting like everything will be okay when I know it won't. I am old enough to know the truth. I can't talk to the doctor because all the information is privlegded and my father won't really tell me anything. All he says is that he went to the doctor and they gave him some medicine. I just really want to know what to expect and how much longer I will have my father around. Thanks to anyone who can help.
