Dear Steve: What an encouraging story yours is! I am probably a lot older than you(69), have had by-pass surgery and a year ago, a Medtronic "In Sync" pacemaker installed with a built in ICD. Lately, I've had problems of being shocked(saved me from Vtach) and now I'm on meds that are designed to help that. I also exercise (or used to - I don't know what's going to happen now, since I'm recovering from 5 consecutive shocks. I don't want to throw in the towel, since I enjoy life so much. I am even considering a ventricular pump, if it would help. Should you have any info on that, I'd appreciate it.
