Sounds like you are on the right track. My cardiologist can not explain my changes as well. A healthy, active lifestyle and medication seems to really make a difference. There are several diets out there. The one which seems to work for me is the "Zone" diet. It is really sensible. Not too much denial! I was never overweight. I now weigh 125 lbs and am 5' 7" tall. The only thing that concerns me is the rythum changes (skipped beats and 2 - 3 beat runs). I keep this in check by running on a treadmill with a polar monitor. If I am overtired it seems like it really affects my rythum. Those are the days I take a day off from the treadmill. Keeping up with 3 active boys can be workout enough some days.
