On Dec 28 1993, three days after my son was born, I went into chf. The dr's said I had cardiomyopathy. I was 20 years old at the time. They said I should not get pregnant again because I could die. I left the hospital on a good bit of meds. But within a couple of months I was off of all of them. I wanted at least one more child. So in 1997 I became pregnant again. I had to see the obgyn a lot and the cardiologist too. I dlvd by c-section at 35 weeks. The cardiologist was getting worried and thought that a dlvy would be best. I had no problems during or after pregnancy. And I am healty now. It can be done. Your dr will strongly advise against it. But it is up to you. Everyone is different.
