 Constitutional Rules

1)                  The league shall be known as the “Coleshill & District Snooker League”

2)                  A Management Committee shall control the league.  All matters appertaining to the administration and running of the League must be brought before the Committee.  Appeals to any decisions are not normally allowable, unless the Management Committee considers the circumstances to warrant otherwise.  Any Committee member failing to attend a meeting and/or submit and apology, which is acceptable to the Management Committee, shall be deemed to have resigned.

3)                  Amendments to the rule may only be made at the A.G.M and/or E.G.M and must be carried by a majority of members present.

4)                  Only business of which notice has been received in writing, by the Secretary 14 days prior to the date of the A.G.M and/or E.G.M will be discussed.

5)                  Each team shall pay the appropriate fees as may be deemed by the A.G.M.

6)                  The Management Committee shall have the power to refuse entry or re-entry to the League.

7)                  Delegates meetings will be held when the Management Committee considers it appropriate.  The venue and time will be circulated.  A Delegate from each team must attend.  Any team failing to attend or submit an apology that is acceptable to the Management Committee will be fined one point at the end of the season per missed meeting.

8)                  Delegates will have the right to attend Committee meetings.  Delegates will not be allowed to vote at such meetings and will only be allowed to voice an opinion when requested to do so by the Management Committee.

9)                  A job description will be applicable to each Committee position and this will determine the responsibilities of each Committee Member.  A copy of the relevant “job description” will be circulated at the A.G.M and other Delegates meetings where election of a new Committee Member is required.  If, because of the circumstances, it is impossible for a Committee Member to fulfill a particular responsibility then he should ensure that someone else fulfils this responsibility.  If a particular post is not occupied, then it will be the responsibility of the Committee Members resident.
