Window 98 drivers for Gateway 2000 Crystal Scan 1024 NI Monitor

by

I have an old 14 in. Gateway 2000 Crystal Scan 1024 NI Monitor.
The monitor works great in VGA mode (640 X 480) !!!
Does this monitor work in the SVGA mode (800 X 600) ?
I need Window 98 drivers for this monitor?
Thank You

Am I on the right track

by

Hi,
I have for many years wanted to do the Library Tech Diploma (I'm in SA)and now find myself in a position to give it a go, provided I'm accepted for admission.
I am 37 years old, my children are now at school and I'm sick of being in jobs (supermarket etc)that are not really what I'm interested in. I'm passionate about Genealogy & Family History & just love being in archives, local history rooms and history type museums. This has been my intense hobby for the last 17 years and I have experienced and participated in the move from hand written files, microfiche etc towards the internet & databases etc. However my hobby has been the only experience I've had so I really can not guage if being on the "other side of the counter" is going to be similiar. I've done many hobby type family history classes & really enjoy the classroom environment. Studying is going to require a sizable contibution from my budget just to enrol, so what I'm asking is if Genealogy, Local & Family History is what I"m really enthusiastic about am I on the right track?
Any suggestions, comments etc would be really appreciated.

Anybody in-Law?

by

Hi, I manage a Law Library by myself and I would really like to talk to other Technicians out there who are in a similar situation. Law Librarians have their own E-mail lists, magazines, seminars, Symposiums etc. but I don't know of any Technicians doing the same thing. Could anybody enlighten me on this or do we need to form something ourselves.

For a debate we would like to find out the number of libraries there are in Australia. Could you please help us or find someone who can?

You could use something like net nanny, or any other internet filter. It's probably better to have some kind of acceptable use policy before you start censoring though.
