Was bicycle locked?

June 25 2008, 8:54 AM

Just curious, can you share the details of how the bicycle was stolen? This may help some of us avoid the same situation. For example, was it locked? Etc.

Thanks,
Calvin

I am fairly sure I locked it ...

June 26 2008, 9:04 PM

... but I can not say with 100% certainty. The lock was on, but whether I adjusted the four digits on the lock is something I'm not sure about. Then again, the thief may have just had cutters and chopped the wire.

My advice and lesson: Don't lock your bike in a bad neighborhood of a city (as I did in Phoenix).

Steve and the ladies on the ride

May 7 2008, 6:54 AM

I liked that bit about the waitress flirting with you and you wondering what it was about the ride that made you attractive to women. I think it could be the following: Being passionate about something, taking risks, being strong and the tights.
