In 2003 my wife biked across America all by herself using the central tour route at age 50.She'd like to do it again using the Northern route starting the very end of June 09 in Astoria, Or .Last time she did it in 66 days with 6 rest days included.For safety she did motels most days but would consider camping or some motels with a partner.She is very handy and a problem solver so would be a big help to anyone doing this for the 1st time.I'm giving this to her as a gift and she doesn't know it, that's why I'm the one making the inquiry.

I just read your post on biking across America. I am also considering a ride but have never done this before. I hope to do it before I turn 60--which is in a couple of years. Last summer I biked Provence with my husband We also bike all summer in Wisconsin and on a windtrainer in the winter. I would be interested in talking to you or her about her potential trip.
