I just graduated from college and I want to plan a bicycle adventure for myself, my roommate(s) and anyone else who wants to join. I'm living in Indianapolis, originally from Chicago, and I was thinking of leaving from Indy in early July and making a loop through a few different states. I think it is a little too ambitious to want to get all the way out to CA and back in 3 weeks, but the LA to Georgia or LA to NY routes seem to be the only ones I can really find. Does anyone have any suggestions for routes from the Midwest to either the Southeast, Northeast or anyplace within 1,000 miles of the Indy/Chicago area that is a "must do" for a bike tour? Any help or suggestions are welcome!
