Basic Dictionary skills for Mitten

by Miguel

MITTEN:
"He takes the word superstition, replaces it with the words "dietary restrictions" and that no longer makes something a superstition."

Superstition - the word YOU have used to label the dietary restrictions of Muslims (and by default every other religon too).

Superstition - the definition of this word being an irrational belief arising from ignorance or fear.

YOU have absolutely FAILED to demonstrate how dietary restrictions are either irrational through ignorance or fear.

I howvever, have already demonstrated multiple times that dietary restrictions indeed do have reasons for their use in religion - they being traditional, religious, ritual, cultural or nutritional/medical.

Your argument is therefore revealed for what it is - spurious....and repetitive.

LOL

MITTEN:
"Yet another brilliant display of logic on Miguel's behalf. The superstition of it being bad luck to walk under a ladder is not a superstition because it is a walking restriction."

So which religion specifically has a "walking restriction" Mitten? LOL!
:-D

By the way - it really IS a good idea NOT to walk under a ladder my dear for a number of obvious reasons any sane & logical individual could come up with.

MITTEN:
"Your logical attempt at painting something as not being a superstition by painting it with another set of words, just doesn't work, Miguel!"

I can't help it if you use words whose meanings and definitions you really have no concept of Mitten.

Perhaps if you actually used a dictionary?
;-)

Cheers and do try again.
:-)
