      Hello Rosemary -

      Just back from vacation. Thank you for the information - it's really interesting. What struck me was the the connection to Albany NY via Anna May in the Obituary of William Sr. and the general connection to the Upstate NY area.

      I was wondering how I can obtain access to the Rutland Herald archives? It would be very helpful to find information on his wife Jennie, and the daughters Mary and Anna May. It's still a long shot but the connection to Albany, NY is interesting.

      Do you know of anyone who would remember what the McBrides looked like? It really would not mean anything but I sent a picture of my Mother is there anyone there you could show it to to see if there is any resemblence to the McBrides of Rutland?
