MRS. MARGARET E. PHALEN.
Mrs. Margaret E. Phalen, wife of the late Patrick
G. Phalen, died late last night at her home at 97
Library avenue, Rutland, Vt. She had been in poor health within recent
years. She was born in East Dorset, Vt. but had lived in Rutland the
greater part of her life. She was a member of St.Peter's Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Misses Charlotte M. and Alice C.
Phalen ; five sons, Charles E., George P.,Charles J., Bernard W., and
James R. Phalen, all of this city (Rutland).
A brother Thomas Wallace of Watertown,Mass. and several nieces and
nephews.
The body was taken last night to the Canty Funeral home and will be
returned to Mrs. Phalen's late home this afternoon. Funeral services
will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Peter's church. Burial
will follow in Calvary cemetery.
