I cut my teeth tuning a QB78 .22 (very easy)for some reason I was not comfortable tuning springers but after making a spring compressor and tuning a B18, 2 b20's, B4 and B3 I think they are just as easy and fun as tuning a co2 gun. I've tinkered with a buddies Beji 392, but special tools needed from Crosman are a necessity in order to get these things apart totally. I've made most of my "specialty tools" and guess I could buy or make the tools needed for pump pnuematics but since I don't own any or care to own any I'll just pass for now. The key to springer tunes is to have a good spring compression that is adjustable to a wide range of gun sizes. After that it's a breeze.
