I ordered a six inch RWS 16mm muzzle brake from D&R sports for my QB-78.
(RWS2302652 MUZZLEBRAKE FOR MODELS 34, 36, AND 45 16MM 1 $24.24 )
And they sent me a DIANA 16mm Barrel-weight 'Stabilisator'. (Looks the same to me).
The part that slides onto the barrel has a 16mm ID and is 2.1" deep.
The remaining 3.9" of 1" tube has a ID of about 0.871" & OD of 1.01" with a screw-on cap at the end.
(Exit hole is .311")

I found a thin sheet of brass (.006") that I could cut with scissors and made
some 2.1"x1.7" shims and pre-shaped them by wrapping them around a marker pen.
I used five shims. if you use thicker brass, you will use less.
Put a few shims 1/2 way into the brake and slide it onto the barrel. Test by wiggling it.
If it's loose, add another shim or two.
When it feels nice and solid, (and too tight to add more shims)
push the (pre-marked) muzzle in about 2.2" (or more for a louder report).
Push all the shims down flush from both ends.
The use the supplied allen wrench to lock the brake in place.
It looks very cool, makes my QB balance better off-hand and cuts the report down a lot.
I can now hear the twang of my hammer spring!
I'm guessing here, but it could be down by over 50%. My wife is very pleased!
