http://www.network54.com/Forum/message?forumid=79537&messageid=1106957412go ahead and publish for the airgunning community the tuning guide that I have put together for all to have. I've never published it to the airgunning community in the past for a good reason. The reason for not publishing it was to protect Craig and Gene Sunday's business of tuning these guns. It is for that same reason that I never got into Co2's also. I have/had respect for them and their business and it was to protect their interests. (I have little or no use for Tim after he treated me like trash when I tried to order a part from him (a valve stem seal) and have or feel absolutely no obligation in protecting his interests).
There are a couple of people that I have given it to in the past with the understanding that it go no further than them, and I'm glad and thank them for honoring my request/stipulation.
Although I've had many requests to do Co2 tuneups, I have declined to do them publicly and have always referred them to Gene or Craig , but I have spent many hours and done a number of QB's on the quiet side and documented every aspect of it.
It is a nine page very extensive minute step by step document of what to do and how to do it with pictures, graphics, measurements and more information than you would ever need that includes several stages or levels of tuning that includes porting, valve modifying, hammer spring mods, bolt mods, barrel work, you name it.
I need to think about it just a little more......and it wouldn't take much encouragement either.
