Just got the 99 i ordered from Compasseco. Fired it about 10 times and then the sear wouldn't engage. I planned on tearing it down and tuning it anyway so thats what I did, had a senior moment and can't remember how the trigger assembly goes back together. Duh Anyone have a diagram? thanks in advance. Mike

QB 36-1

The trigger assembly on the TF-99 seems to be the same as the one on the QB 36-1. Anybody out there have one and want to help?

jeez! in the trash?!

I had been eyeing that TF99 "Magnum" as a cheap under-lever with decent power levels....did you really come to the conclusion that after 10 shots, it was totaled and proceeded to toss it in the trash?!

No way?

I can help you put it back together. I hope you are joking about the trash thing. Email me and I'll be glad to help you and send you a diagram of the QB trigger if it is the same. Tuning is hit and miss if you don't get it the first time just put it aside and come back to it after your "senior moment" and frustrations pass.

Once, I nearly cut my finger off tuning a B4, after I stitched it up and stopped bleeding I finished tuning the P.O.S. and sold it for $100.

more than it looks like

July 21 2004, 11:54 AM

I only trashed it after two days of working on it, the cocking arm released and slammed down on my hand breaking two bones in it. I still can't shoot and as I drive for a living it's been a real female dog. I just didn't want this thing on the streets hurting someone else. Even after reassembling it correctly, I did have it right the trigger spring was defective. I should have saved some parts but was so pithed I just tossed it. I've had 3 or 4 people tel me send it my way, oh well. Mike
