AA S 400- 410

I'm thinking of getting either an S410 or S400 classic in .177.
I know the S410 is a repeater while the 400 is single shot, is that the only difference?
Are the barrels shrouded and how many shots can I expect between fills?
I know .22 is better but there are less choices in pellet style and are harder to find and when you do you better get a case while .177 you can get anywhere for less money in general.
Also is the magazine and parts to revolve the mag delicate? I'm kind of rough with things and I'm afraid I'll wind up with a single shot anyway by being heavy handed.
Would I get more shots between fills with the S400Extra?
Thanks for any info.
