Hi, My name is Chad, i live in southeastern ohio. Iv'e coon hunted for a long time. Iv'e never even heard of a coon gettin that big but i guess its possible in different places. I dont know what my dogs would do tryin to fight a coon bigger than 30 pounds. The biggest ive ever treed was a 25 pound boar coon, and it just about whipped the dogs. I hunt treeing walkers and black and tans. right now i have one hell of a dog named hatchet,he's one of the two walkers that i own. the other walker is too old to hunt anymore, he tries to hunt but he has a bad back.i have two black an tan pups that im training right now, their 7 monthes old and treeing and runnin with hatchet already, i hope that they might make grand night champion one day but you never know. Last night a pack of coyote's came in on the dogs while they were treed. if youve only got 1 or 2 dogs a pack will kill them if they can. when i heard the coyotes start screamin i grabbed the gun and ran into the woods. by the time i got to the dogs the coyotes had gone back in their den. im gonna go kill then all today, i know where the dens are. the biggest possum ive ever seen was about 22 pounds, i was out on the back roads one night haveing some fun kickin possums,thats were you go out and find possums in the road and keep your headlights on them then run out and kick the shit out of them. well this particular possum was a mean sumbitch! he absoluty ate my ass up! The stinky shithead climbed up my leg when i started kickin him. I dont know if you have ever had 22 pounds of pissed off possum crawling up your leg but let me tell you, it aint no fun! well im gettin ready to go out and tree my a big coon so im gonna go. e-mail me back somtime so we can swap some stories.
