OMG OMG OMG OMG! WHERE I LIVE, I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU GUYS, BUT WHERE I LIVE THE RE-RELEASE OF MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO ON DVD IS TOMMOROW, I'M So0o EXCITED !!!!

I don't think the movies any different, and the re-realease just means that the companies are shipping it out in large quantities again, but it can't be differnt, it must just b lk any DVD just have lik extras, deleted scenes, that's all (i hope, i have'nt seen it and i want to see the original) :-P

Yah, it's a 2-DVD Set, and includes a 64 Page book on thnigs about the movie, kind of like a diary....it's 39.99 / :-O, that's like TWO weeks alowence, but oh, well it's for Riv and Keanu, new jeans will just have to wait, heheH! plus, i think for clothes my dad will give me an advance, but YES w/o a doubt, i will keep you all posted!!

Such a wonderful movie, i mean it truly was great, there's everything too, in the book, essays, interviews, one interview with Gus Van Sant and River...hilarious, one with 2 ppl i dont kno and River and Keanu! it's great...there's deleted scenes....uh....the Original Theatrical Trailor....everything, TOTALLY worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!!

after reading all the great things u guys said about this movie i went out and rented it and i was really disapointed i had previouly seen stand by me and runnning on empty and loved both but i really didnt like this at all does it get better with repeated viewings or maybe it was because it was on video i really dont know cbut it was a big letdown with a stupid ending i hate gus van sant he made the worst movie about kurt cobain called days and that movie sucked ass kurt would turn over in his grave i

it took me awhile to find it and i finally saw it........i think it's an amazing movie apart from the end.........i think river's acting in it is very well done and i think he deserved more praise for it..........it is a very different movie from most that i have seen..which is a good thing............it's not all the time where you see a movie about gay prostitutes and their outlook on life.......im so glad river chose the role of mike........he also looked very hott in it (especially for someone living on the streets and being a prostitute)..............a very beautiful film..
