because some people prefer to overlook the fact that river chose to take the drugs that killed him, so they blame the guy who dealt them. some people went as far as to blame depp for owning the viper room in the first place. basically some people choose not to see whats right in front of them.

Exactly Ana! See the problem here is, is that some 'kids' and no, im not exaggerating, litterally kids refuse to face the facts and realise River was no saint! You guys are only foolibg yourselves in this display of indifference! River was famous, he was known world wide, and the main reason being, was..i hate to say it, but because of his cute boyish looks! Girls come on here and drool over River as though he was some role model that they look up to! But why, because he was 'hot'! Then why like him in the first place? Just for that reason? Forget it, piss off! I think these kids coming on here, pretending that they have something important to say just annoy me, when their posts are pointless, and it seems that someone telling me they need to go to the toilet is more important than some of these time wasting posts!

Well there are some fans liek on here who are like me, I like him for his talent and the person he was, the other side to him! Thats why I like him! The looks play very little part for me these days!

I think that John is not a killer, but he has a guilt concerning River's death. He shouldn't have given him this poisoned stuff. That could have killed everyone. River's fault was to trust his friend John!

John Frusciante, in fact was at the Viper Room that night of River Phoenix's death but from what I've heard he had nothing to do with his death.John Frusciante was performing that night, so while River was given the drug and that killed him and dying, John Frusciante was on stage performing. John Frusciante was a heavy heroin addict during that time but I don't believe he gave him the drugs and John Frusciante was not a drugdealer, he's a musician.
