Anybody know what colour River's eyes were? I can't tell from the photo's.

Well they often look blue in pictures, but they're really green.

Actually, they were bluish-greenish. If you look at them closely, you can see a little bit of both.

true, they were blue-green, in some pictures you saw more green ( stand by me) and in others more blue!

I have read they where green, and he used contact lens depending on his character

i should know because i have his eyes. most people thick it is blue but that depends on the position of the person. river's eyes were gray when he was born but as he grew up they became green. not only do i know this because i have his eyes but because my sister is an eye doctor and my brother-in-law writes birth certificates. both these occupations can tell someones eye color and RP is green.

PS: just a plus side i've meet RP. now you guys are envyous of me arn't you. ha ha!!!

by the way- i think you should return Rivers eyes to his parents- im sure they must have noticed by now that they are missing.

River had Green eyes but in different lights they would go blue. But he had green.

I read in several articles that River's eyes were grey. They look different colors based on his shirt color.

wha? In movies, his actual eye colour is a very pale blue, but in photosm they edit his eye colour, so much to the fact that its noticable that his eye colour is edited! In that photo, you can tell the colour has been changed a bit, look in movies, you will see his eye colour is blue! I assure you! In profiles in magazines and interviews, it clearly states his eye colour is blue!

I don't think the color really matters..what does matter is that his eyes were definitely the windows to his soul..he had the most incredible eyes,sexy but honest..they just drew you in and you could see his every mood and feeling through those eyes. they were the first thing that caught your attention..just take a look.....

Alot of times when you have " green" eyes they can look bluer at times. Mine are green, and depending on what I am wearing they can look blue. My son is the same way but vice versa.

No, he did not have brown eyes. River wouldn't have given a shit to wear contacts, he was gorgeous anyway. And haven't you seen photos from when he was a baby? Or do you think he's been wearing contacts ever since he was in his cradle? Whatever, the official documents are clear enough.

listen, i know your trying to help- and just going by these current posts and previous threads you started i have to say- if we, ANY of us wanted to be preached at we'd go to church. i dont mean to be unkind but we are just having some fun here- if anyone wanted to be converted or indeed talk about the faith they already have, they would go to a christian chatroom/forum. The point of my so called "preaching down people's throats" is to reach those who will never step one foot inside a church. And after all this is still America. I have a right to free speech with out being censored in spite of the ACLU.
I don't mind being rejected. In fact many may never even like me.
But consider this: what if for eternity a person faces a hell just because they reject the message Christ paid the price for one's sins. But if a person dies in their sins, and face a Holy and Righteous God they'll face the consquences.
For example if I get caught going 100 mph, and accidently hit someone I'll face a judge. And even if I tell the judge I've never done that before, and will never never do it again could the judge just let me off this one time?
Unless the judge is corrupt or something I would end up going to jail for a long, long time.
We each have an appointment to face a Holy and just God, and He has to judge us according to the law just like River had to face HIm when He died.
There is a way out, and that is to accept Jesus, and turn away from one's sins. The preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who perish.

I don't blame you for thinking I could be some kind of nut.
However, living with the faith I have I have had a burden for some time for individuals who have no idea about the grace God has for every one in this world.
And Jesus spoke and warned about the awful punishment for eternity for us sinners going to hell. And a person will go to this horrible place if we end up dying in our sins. And for sure one out of one of us will die one day. Then we'll face the judgement of the Lord God. If the Lord God doesn't recognize His son Jesus inside of us punishment will soon come.
I'd be a poor excuse of a Christian if I didn't warn others, and let them know they have a serious need in their life to find a way out of the judgement each of us are facing. Because we break the laws of God; God being righteous, holy, and perfect He has to judge us.
If I commit a crime here and get caught. Like speeding 150 mph down the street, and kill someone standing in the road I would soon go to jail. After that some time I'd stand before a judge who would follow the law, and I'd be punished.
Even if I told the judge I'm really a nice guy. I've never hit any one else in all my life before; I don't plan on ever doing it again would the judge let me go? Of course not. He'd have to put me in prison no doubt. That's justice.
The only way out of being judged by God who dispenses eternal justice and avoiding what I deserve is Jesus. Any one who wants to avoid hell must repent or turn away from one's sins (feeling sorry for one's sins), and ask Christ to come into our hearts.
For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son.

They were in fact light green with a blue ring around the outer eye.
