To our neighbors - we love you - we are praying for you, we are praying for your families, your leaders, and your country, your children.

You've been attacked - for no good reason whatsoever other than being "free". In the midst of a successful start of a G-8 summit to the joy of gaining the Olympic dream, you have been targeted for no other reason on this entire planet other than your ability to have freedom of will, freedom of expression, and a suuceesful courageous lifestyle that terrorists are deathly afraid of. I know exactly how you feel.

Indeed, this is your 9-11. Terrorists love dates. Today is 7-7-2005. (2+0+0+5=7) Thus it is 7-7-7. You orchestrated Live-8, you are hosting the Olympics that the world was proud to see and cheering you on. Too much excitement for life, freedom, and helping your neighbors in this crazy world is far too much for the angry terrorist to handle. Terrorism is not an American thing. It never has been. Terrorism is not a Bush thing, or an anxst against the American people. Terrorism hates freedom - period. And right now, as the world celebrated with London on the major success of Live-8, the g-8 that P.M. Blair has orchestrated, and the Olympic championships, terrorists could no longer hide their hatred of your feedom and happiness.

My father spent time in London as mentioned recently. I called him at 6 a.m. He was already up. So is the rest of the world.

I'm getting carried away. I am angry, I am fucking pissed. My apologies to my English neighbors if my rant has offended you. I mean not to in any way. But I've walked this road personally. No one deserves this. No one. Ever.

God be with you. Hang in there - you are a resiliant people who have always had a reputation for a firm backbone and freedom of expression to all. Your going to make it through this day and those days to come because of your strength. Please know the world is with you - the world loves you - the world respects you.

Jiggy, Ant, try to give us an update, only if you can. Disagree with you sometimes? Sure - that's to be expected. Abandon you? Never. Have your back? Your dam right we do. I love my Brit neighbors. They are what history is made of, and living legends as we speak.

WE LOVE YOU.

according to the news there are about 38 fatalities. the train journey back to my home town (nowhere near london) showed that everywhere is on high alert. at least 3 stations i heard of had to be closed temporarily due to security alerts, and one of those was evacuated and had a controled explosion by the bomb squad. its all chinese wispers at the moment really, clearer picture should emerge over the next few days, just be thanful it wasn't anything worse.

Its so nice of all of you on here with your messages of support for England!

My friend at work got on one of the trains that was bombed. She went to get on one carriage and it was too packed so she went on the one behind it.
The one she tried to get on that was too packed was the one that blew!!!

what a lucky girl she is thats all i can say. she was pretty shaken up! and not too hurt. She said she had never seen anything like it. London was like some sort of war zone with people running everywhere and panicking!

BASTARDS thats all i can say!!!!!!!!

I havent left the tv either..

xx

at the end of the day, the british will not let this type of thing affect us. we have been bombed in WWII and during the ira campaigns and it hasn't damaged us too greatly. it's th british way, they want to turn us into a nation of victims and we wont oblige them. lets face it, us brits don't shock too easy, we have been prepared for this in some way since 9/11.

jess i am really glad your friend got out of this ok. these stories of near misses are pretty amazing, and if anyting they make you believe in fate alot more.

my rational side sees that these people may have a valid political point in the way that the west is encroaching on thier interests, HOWEVER, harming and murdering innocent people is wrong, under ANY circumstances. i personally hope these people and all who are affiliated with them rot in hell, and this is coming from someone who does not believe in organized religion.

i hope that london sleeps well tonight.

i know we are the master's of understatement, but we are not about to let a bunch of psychotic wankers weaken our resolve. as of yet there has bee no backlash against the muslim community, thus showing that we are not holding them collectivly responsible for what a few disgusting reprobates have done.

i hope that we as a nation carry on this way, not letting grief cloud our judgements and actions, but allowing the authorities to catch these sick and cowardly individuals before they harm someone else.

"hey jc! yeah we are like ships passing in the night lol gives me some rough estimate times of when you'll be on here"

Hey again, Nat! I'm online periodically throughout the day and night... thank goodness I get to do most of my work from home! That way I have no boss peering over my shoulder when I'm goofing off. So I guess I could drop by here for a chat (at least briefly) most any time -- maybe you should tell me what's convenient for you? Keep in mind I'm in the US (east coast) when you give me a time. When I chatted with Ally it was around 8:30 PM for her, but only 6:30 AM for me! I'm going to be away all day today (Wednesday), but may have a chance to check in late at night. Hopefully we can catch each other sometime! Take care!
